Crazier things have happened but I'm starting to hear Frank.20 points with 5 mins I would hope not but crazier things have have happened
Doesn't hurt that Pope was a mutt for a bit as well.I have always hated BYU with a passion. This warms my black heart greatly
Rodman is a glue guyUnsung hero of the game. In limited minutes, Rodman has 7 rebounds.
Yep, from Newport High School in Bellevue, to the uw, and then he finally got smart and transferred after two years in the ugly purple and gold.Doesn't hurt that Pope was a mutt for a bit as well.
Go Coug's!
It is nice having a deep teamThe only negative. Man were Bamba and Williams bad. Luckily Rodman stepped up.
I mean, not everyone can be on every night. The only negative. Man were Bamba and Williams bad. Luckily Rodman stepped up.
I know, right?!Has WSU Ever had three big men of this quality at one time
I was gonna go with House, Donaldson and Tessem.Pudokas, House, Donaldson
No Noah in the second half that I recall. Or Bamba?Dear Basketball gods,
Please keep the bigs in the game and don't let Noah go all Noah in the next 11 1/2 minutes.
Amen.
he takes a shot just about every game.Rodman has been absolutely hammered a few times this season.
Yeah I thought WSU would win by 1 to 7 points, but I was shocked by the dominating performance and how they DESTROYED both the bad refs and BYU.I expected a win but wow didn’t really see such a dominating performance. Nice job! Now on to MSG. I know the NIT is a consultation tourney but it’s great for experience and what an awesome experience for the players!👍
Super fun! Last night was a "complete" game where they didn't take their foot off the gas pedal. The team appears to be peaking/jelling during this tourney. Love their confidence. That was a fun fun fun game.
Check your ignore list, it has been mentionedSurprised no one has mentioned the defense. BYU was averaging 91 a game. The cougs (WSU) gave them fits all game long.
Easily our best game of the season. BYU came out with energy and fan support, but we took their best shot and continued to pound the ball inside and never relented on defense. They couldn't get out in front those first 10 minutes and it got in their heads.
This is a great example of how sometimes the NIT is the better option for a young team. I hope we can keep this group together next season.
