Cougs vs LMU at Spokane Arena - Monday

Wow, those r expensive! Dang, would be a good thing to do over break, not sure I can justify those prices though.

Behind the basket is the worst view in the entire arena. GU never plays LMU in the arena. Hopefully the know that WSU 5 game tickets are $65 and 7 game for $70. For goodness sakes season tickets were like $150 bucks.

Hopefully you and about 3000 friends show up to buy tickets at the door. Still LOTS of tickets.

I want to show up, but even tho I can take the SMS bus to Spokane, the SMS bus back leaves Spokane at 4:30.

And lately had have a semi puffed up, semi painful foot, and head ache.

And I made a commitment, to do a event, activity, before I found out game at Spokane Arena, gave my word to to that commitment.

So I'll either listen to the game on radio on my phone, or watch on my phone, or TV, Direct TV, etc, if it's available, and if not available, just listen to the radio broadcast on my phone.

Hopefully WSU has another game in Spokane Arena in the future, and that I find out about it soon enough, with enough notice ahead of time to hopefully make arrangements to be able to get back home after the game, etc.

Might get a couple of tickets for this in the upper bowl...I pay 3-4 times that for Chiefs tickets, so hard not to justify getting out to support the team. Of course, watch parking be $15-20. The days of me parking in the sketchy neighborhoods north of the Arena (by the old Viking) are over since I can't take my gun into the venue.

Cougs not shooting well so far. But they are up by one, 14-13 at around the 11 minute mark.

Showed injuries during game. Watts and Vavers out for extended period. Coward and Wilson out for the year. First news I've seen on Watts.

I had heard Watts was going to be out weeks. But was not sure exactly what that meant.

Thras is looking better and better. Has two threes in this game. He got a late start with the Cougs, as he did not practice with the team during the summer because he was with Iceland's national team. Then when he got to Pullman, he got sick.

Naturally, it took a while to learn the system and for he and his teammates to get on the same page. He looks like he is going to be a good one.

The Cougs are just getting beat up this season. Calmese going back to the locker room with a knee injury.
Edit: He came back from the locker room and has been inserted back to the game. Glad it was not serious.

WBB is playing Pacific. They are up 69-60 with about three minutes left. I watched the beginning of the game before I turned it to this game. The came out sloppy and cold. Glad to see they played a better second half.

The whole ending of the game showed no class by WSU, hopefully coach cleans that up and we don't see that again. When you are up by 10+ with 30 seconds to go, run the clock, don't shoot, let the play clock expire and let them run out the clock. Just an unspoken rule of etiquette, thought they would have known this by now.

Agree. Every player should know this by now.
