Cougs vs Trees

Finally a win over a team in the "Top Half" of the Pac12 conference (Stanford is in 7th place, barely).
How many teams in the "Top Half" of the conference have the Cougars played this year? UCLA? Nope. Arizona? Nope. USC? Yes, once....lost by 2. Oregon? Hope. Huskies? Nope. So besides the USC game, WSU has had zero chances at beating a top half team.

A bunch of them are coming up, so we'll see how they do.

Glad Cougar

That’s crazy UW is in the top half. We better run them in Seattle. Btw is there any chance the home game gets a redoux?

Yep, probably play twice in the week we play. Once Pullman, Once Seattle

That was unfortunate and there was a time that a play like that wasn't called if the ball left the hand before contact. Cougars are currently in 4th place. But, that will probably change with both the uw and Oregon playing right now.
Refs continue to get fooled by flops. Noah bumped into the guy after he made the pass but there is no way he hit him hard enough to fall 3 ft backward and to the ground. It is amazing how easy it is in college BB to knock down a 6-5 240 lbs athlete. I don't actually think any call should be made on plays like that.

It didn't seem like the contact had an impact on the play. Keefe was so far away from Noah I think the pass was completed well before Noah makes contact with Keefe. I do see a problem though. If the official has to decide whether the contact impacted the play it becomes another subjective snap decision that would cause more inconsistencies. So...

Solid win against solid team. Momentum is building and overall play has definitely improved, which you like to see as the season goes on.
PS: Rodman is quickly moving up my list of all time favorite COUGS😀

Rodman is easy to like. Always around the ball--great offensive rebounder--great hustle and can hit the open shot. Clearly not a star but the type of player who makes a team better.
