IM AM SAYING TO GO BY A COMBINED WSU WINNING BY 75 COMBINED WITH WSU HAVING ONE OF EASIEST SCHEDULES IN WSU HISTORY, THAT MEANS WSU SHOULD PROBABLY WIN 17 GAMES, CBI, INSTEAD OF GOING BY WSU WINNING BY 75 BY ITSELF WHICH CAN, MAYBE MIGHT EVEN PROBABLY MEANS NOTHING.

Like was said, the only thing you learn from that game is watching individual players dribble, shoot, and pass. I take nothing positive from the 138, and take nothing negative from giving up 63. We probably could have easily beat them 90-25 and it wouldnt say anything about or defense. On the positive side we are another day closer to playing a D-1 opponent where can learn something.

who is assuming? I was at the game and watched it unfold. You on the other hand did not see the game and assume you know what happened just like you assume a player is athletic and skilled and going to be a solid player just by watching a highlight video. You constantly talk about other people not knowing basketball but how many times do you have to be wrong before you look in the mirror and see one of those “so called experts” looking back at you?

You are 100% right. Actually it was all about turnovers by WSU. Never seen so many, clearly learning some new things. Rebounding was also a problem. Thought there were some bright spots with Ula playing quite well for a frosh. Lack of depth by the bigs will be a problem. Loosing Lou and Nike really was a blow.

You're right on the rebounding front. Don't know why I forgot that. I was thinking during the game "does somebody want to rebound." It was a positioning problem. They were consistently out of position to rebound.

Defense and rebounding is probably going to be an ongoing theme this season. Guards are going to have to step up and help rebound. Ula has good size and feel for the game but watching her in the Asian Championships and game 1 she's not great at getting position to rebound yet. Really glad they were able to get her though. Great get by the staff in a short recruiting window. She seems more versatile and complete than either Lou Brown or Kayla Washington (although I wish all the transfers stuck around).

I think we have a good nucleus of players but it would have really helped coach start strong if the transfers had stuck around.

I see Lou Brown is out for the year with an acl and is applying for a 6th year at UTenn. Would think she get it. McClure starts for New Mexico.
