Dixie state had a strong JC program for years, became a 4 year school/college about 20 years ago as I recall.

Unfortunately despite two dominant years at Dixie JC, Coug RB recruit J.T. Diederichs couldn’t make it out of St George with an AA. Huge mystery due to them known as a transcript cleaning JC back in late 90s-00s

Thanks for the trip down memory lane when our coaching staff didn't factor academics into the evaluation process at all. Plenty of kids worked out over the years but that house of cards collapsed and set the stage for our lost decade.

Well you had Walden recruits from the 1988 Aloha Bowl team (team GPA 1.98) doing the evaluation process.

In 1988 the bad academics were Dennis Erickson's fault. From 2003 to 2011 the bad academics were the player's fault.
