Crazy Pac-12 opening weekend

There's a whole bunch of 1-1 teams after week one. It will be interesting to see how much separation takes place in the standings this season. Could be a lot of beating up on each other, especially in the upper half of the conference.

If the Cougars can maintain a consistent defensive effort (no reason why they can't), they should be competitive with a lot of teams. It will be a question of how well they shoot the ball. I can see them pulling off a couple of upsets but can also lose the next came at Cal.

I had heard it will be a couple of weeks for Cannon. He's on crutches and I'm assuming it was a bad ankle sprain.
