You’re clear Krusty Observe brought it up and for good reason. Seldom does it happen on this site, but occasionally in the real world politics and sports crosses paths in a way that makes for must see TV. I do have to disagree that it seemed like they were playing at 90%, that game had the intensity of a Stanley cup game 7…with fights! I was getting Miracle on Ice vibes except with the US playing the villain role. Loved everything about it. Canadians should be pissed, and Muricans should feel as patriotic as ever. Great hockey game and we get to do it again on Thursday most likely with Ol’ orange lard ass in attendance to stoke the fires even further.

I honestly think they’d play for free. Hockey players are made from a different cloth. The NBA is unwatchable with how they play now jacking up 3s flopping constantly and watching their “load management”. Bunch of pussies compared to the 80s/90s.
With the money skyrocketing a lot of NFL players have become divas too. It’s still football but not like it used to be.
