If D Jackson wants to comeback to WSU, I think WSU, Smith, has to, should use the last scholly on D Jackson, and then use a preferred walk on for a another HS 2, SG.

Charlotte had apparently cleared him to play. It wouldn’t surprise me if that was the issue at WSU.

I didn't know that rule now existed. Did that start this year? Would like to see Powell come back. He's a good fit with Yesefu, Mullins, and Houisou. Would be nice to get someone to return.

The rule you’re talking about wouldn’t apply to Powell because he wasn’t in the NBA Combine. From what I’ve read it only applies to players who were invited to the Combine. So Gueye could use it if he goes undrafted. The second a player is drafted the option is gone.

You could very well be right. I just saw an article (that I can't find again) stating that those not drafted had until the 26th to decide whether or not to return to college. I have no idea what the nuances within that rule are.

What ever the medical problem with Jackson was/is leads him to now Decommit from TT and back to Charlotte.
