Assuming the Pac12 pulls it’s head out of it’s arse and plays ball, why would you restrict attendance to family only (assuming they follow the Big10 lead) if daily, instant testing is available? Not saying Martin should be packed but 5-7K seems very reasonable. How much do the tests cost? Are they in limited supply?

I know around a month ago the quick test for certain state employees would cost over $100.00 per individual for that department. Don't remember the exact number.

Logistical nightmare. Gatherings of 30,000+ would likely violate the various orders in every state within the pac-12 foot print.

Most of the testing is going to be the rapid tests, which have a higher error rate. When used in daily testing, the error rate is diminished just by quantity and repetition, so it’ll work to screen athletes. If used on a crowd of fans once every week or two, there’s too much error.
And yes, they’re about $100 each, and not necessarily covered by insurance. So possibly not affordable to all those who may be interested in attending.
