Dheensaw is done

Per an article in the SR, Shailie's WSU career is over. Too bad. She was a strong force in the middle. Cooks hasn't been nearly as effective. Hopefully one of the younger centers will be able to step up. Very unfortunate for her to have to end her career that way.

I think Brown will do fine. The only trouble is it was nice having a backup plan for foul trouble. Now, not so much. Cooks is undersized for the middle.

Brown is talented but not the scorer Dheensaw is at this point. Blanarue isn't ready and McClure is out with her knee. It's a tough loss. They really give up a lot of length without Dheensaw.

Feel pretty bad for Dheensaw. From year 1 to 3 she made great improvement in her game. As a frosh she was a deer in headlights with little offensive game and just kinda' lost. She really developed and turned herself into one of their best players. Hopefully she recovers fully. I would think she has a good shot to continue playing if she want it.
