...love when describing his football team and his success? I don't recall Leach talking about love, either.

This was something that Dickert talked about after we beat the Evil Empire (and at other times), and Kiligis was carry on with this theme yesterday.

Any coach that focuses on love is a bad sign for me. If our next coach continues this theme I will immediately declare that they will fail as the head coach.

Football coaching success is about discipline, scheme, intensity, recruiting, teamwork, preparation, conditioning, strength training, etc.

It ain't above love.

Anyone else have these thoughts?

Kaligis (sp?) Message of love was great for the situation we were in. It's not great long term. Players tune it out after a while.

Pretty sure Dan (Man) Campbell talks often about his love for the lions and the players. He seems to be a sufficiently tough and manly SOB. That's all I have to say about that.
