Does ACC have the votes

Apparently not yet, this is getting ridiculous
Getting? The entire production since Texas left for the SEC has become a giant clown show. Not even the players are gonna have a damn clue who’s in their conference in a couple years.

F it, let’s make it like the portal where schools can jump from conference to conference any time they please.

This was supposed to be solved Monday or Tuesday, and here it is Wednesday, and nothing, which suggests they don't have the votes. They are getting 3 for the price of less than the price of 1 team. SMU wants nothing for 7 years, with that kind of money they could be good again now that there is no cheating watch out. Stanford doesn't want anything for 3 years. Not sure about CAL , and the way I understand it, by adding those 3 teams the TV contract suggest the ACC will get another 60-80 million or 3-5 million more per year per school, than the current contract. So if that hasn't passed, there are some current ACC schools that have dug their heals in and probably want a bigger piece of the pie before they agree, ie Clemson and FSU those two probably want to split all of the new proceeds between the two of them.

I saw $74m, but travel knocked it down to $30m.

Mixed reports.

Some are saying the votes are there or they wouldn't be holding the vote.

Others are saying the "no votes" and schools aren't changing their minds.

Yet others are speculating this is setting the stage for Clemson and FSU to bolt.

I don’t see how Clemson and FSU bail without giving up piles of $$. Sounds like it’s an iron clad agreement that they would have challenged by now if there were holes.

The shooting at UNC held things up. Then the ACC Commissioner was to be in Texas for CFP meeting today which in the end he couldn't travel because of the hurricane.

We are all waiting for that meeting. We in the MWC are as anxious as everyone.

Oh, I bet you aren't quite as anxious about the possibility of adding WSU and Oregon State as our fans are about some other stuff. Haha. But in all seriousness, thanks for giving the update on the state of affairs.

Math. If the new tv revenue minus the GOR buyout is greater than their current media deal they bail.

that's the excuse they used, no reason not to vote now, except that they are still arm twisting the no votes to flip
