Based on the one video I watched, this kid needs a position coach. Probably also a strength coach and a nutritionist.

And altho he has awesome height at 6-6 for edge, he weighs too little(235), unless he is like DD, Isaac Brown, and a SPEED Rusher.
And even Speed edge rushers need to be about 248 at MINIMUM, unless they are like DD, Isaac Brown, who were about 233.
Kid is probably a good TE, Middle Linebacker, buck, hybrid, situational, half linebacker, half edge rusher, in a 3-4, which Dickert does not run, since Dickert and his DC's run 4-3's, and 4-2's, instead of 3-4's.
Kid is a in betweener that doesn't seem to fit.
Kid probably should be a PREFERRED Walk on, or if on scholly, will likely either be a deep reserve at middle linebacker, TE, Edge, etc, until he maybe starts at, as a 5th year senior if he doesn't transfer portal out by then, or he is a special teamer, long snapper, etc.
And he is a 2 star by some rankers, and a 3'stars by others, and NR by others, and from COURD A LENE, a place that doesn't produce big time P5 players
Total project, reach, etc.
He’s still in HS, the S&C program and training table will put 15 lbs on him in no time, after a redshirt year he should be 260 if he’s truly 235 now.And altho he has awesome height at 6-6 for edge, he weighs too little(235), unless he is like DD, Isaac Brown, and a SPEED Rusher.

Mik, with all due respect and FWIW, give a read to Biggsy's evaluation. He coaches football for a living.
He thinks other schools could be trying to get McGraw now that they see him on WSU's list.
Also, McGraw is the No. 2 prospect in Idaho. So he's got that going for himself, too
A kid with that build might realistically put on 15 good pounds over the next 14-15 months. That would probably make him a redshirt Frosh. He has time to develop, and the length (as Biggs noted) is a plus, particularly in this system. He has got to be a pass distraction (as well as creating pressure) as he gets close to the pocket, or the system does not work as intended.

Although there’s a lot more kids coming out of HS nowadays with bodies that are college ready, shouldn’t be a big concern if a kid is lighter with that kind of frame. The S&C coaches at this level know how to put good weight on these kids, and let’s face it some of them you’re hoping they’ll make an impact after they’ve been in the program a couple of years
Always have to have that in the back of your head I guess. If a kid plays early and well he wants to go somewhere flashier to get seen or make some money. If a kid gets buried on the depth chart early he wants to go somewhere where prospect of seeing the field look better. Damned if you do damned if you don’t.In the transfer portal + NIL Era, kid will be gone, before WSU would be able to capitalize, reap the rewards of the kid's 2+ years development project

Not arguing that you are wrong, but I recall at least a few. 6' 10" Buchanan (CDA) just signed with Virginia in basketball. Long ago Jeremy Thielbar from Sandpoint was a Coug. CDA had a QB sign with the mutts a few years back. He transferred to UCLA where he moved to RB, TE, or H-back, not sure of his exact position, but he played a lot last year. How many semi big time P5 prospects come out of Courd a lene, Idaho, Wyoming, etc?
CRICKETS......
Answer hardly ever, not very many.
Kid named Chalich from CDA went to Idaho but never really panned out. Carson Yankoff committed to Oregon, then went to UW and ended up as a wide receiver at UCLA.Not arguing that you are wrong, but I recall at least a few. 6' 10" Buchanan (CDA) just signed with Virginia in basketball. I really don't follow the local HS scene that much, but I think CDA had another QB sign a few years back also, but I could be wrong on that. I think a lineman also came out of this area, but again the memory is foggy on details/names.
Yes, Yankoff was the kid I couldn't recall the name on, and you are 100% correct on the drive down Hwy 95 in the fall. Gorgeous on a sunny day. But driving back home around midnight-2:00 a.m. on a November night.....not so much enjoyment.Kid named Chalich from CDA went to Idaho but never really panned out. Uncle Denny's son was just named the head coach at Lake City so it wouldn't surprise me if they start pumping out some more players.
CDA/Lake City compete favorably with the GSL schools and would do just fine against similar Washington competition.
You're going to get approximately the same pro-rata share of D-1 athletes coming out of CDA as you do from Spokane. There are going to be the Anton Watson/Buchanan-like studs, there's going to be some solid D1/Big Sky type players who may or may not blossom and then there's the rest.
As far as recruiting, if a staff member is making a trip to Spokane, they'll circle back through CDA make a couple stops and drive home down 95 (much pretty and easier road to drive than 195, by the way).
Except when its Ironman Sunday.Yes, Yankoff was the kid I couldn't recall the name on, and you are 100% correct on the drive down Hwy 95 in the fall. Gorgeous on a sunny day. But driving back home around midnight-2:00 a.m. on a November night.....not so much enjoyment.
Love the look. Hate the drive. RV's and Trucks. Too many people driving 5 under and tough to pass.Yes, Yankoff was the kid I couldn't recall the name on, and you are 100% correct on the drive down Hwy 95 in the fall. Gorgeous on a sunny day. Timing is everything. I had a noon tee time at Circling Raven yesterday so left home at ~9:15. Stopped at Donut House in Hayden for one of their outstanding cinnamon rolls (okay, really wanted two of them) only to find they were closed for remodel or something. Headed for second choice Gross Donuts and thought I missed it as I headed down Hwy 95, so circled back and went by again. Guess what I found? It was gone! Like gone down to the concrete pad. Dammit! Anyway, headed out and only had about 2-3 minute delay at the bridge and then headed down at 45 MPH per signs. No issues. However, on the return trip probably lost 20-30 minutes from the bridge backup. That was a pain in the butt, so glad I didn't need to pee.Except when its Ironman Sunday.
Then it is impossible to enjoy.
Like yesterday.
