This is a real concern. Trump 1 showed he had no respect for military leaders, and they obviously had no respect for him and thought he was a dangerous idiot. I'll skip all the examples. Now? All he is doing is purging top military leaders in favor of those he considers yes men. If this doesn't concern you all, then I don't know what to say. Go watch "The Day After" a couple of times.
