ESPN Bowl Projections: WSU vs tOSU in Rose Bowl

Pointless pundit fodder, but ESPN projects WSU in Rose Bowl vs tOSU. I really like our chances against tOSU right now, and a RB win vs Urby's THE Ohio State University would be a huge feather in our cap as a program and as a recruiting tool.

Not for nothing, Kyle Bonagura / Mitch Sherman also have:

• UW vs Texas (Alamo)
• SC/Furd vs Fresno St (Vegas)
• Cal vs Temple (Birmingham)
• ASU vs North TX (First Responder Bowl??)
• Arizona vs Baylor or SC vs UT State (Cheez-It Bowl??)
• Oregon vs Wisconsin/Iowa (Redbox Bowl??)
• Utah vs NWern (Holiday)
• Furd/Pitt or Cal/Miami (Sun)

This is kinda lazy really. We will basically have to beat UW to get to the Rose Bowl. If they have another loss they are not going to be in the Alamo bowl.

The only way I want tOSU in the Rose Bowl is if they are there Big Ten camps.

I’ve resigned myself that we won’t make the playoff. I don’t know that I want that anyway. Call me an idiot. I grew up, and went to school, where the only goal ever was to get to the Rose Bowl and play the Big Tem champion... usually Michigan or Ohio State.

I will be pissed if we get a Rose Bowl bid and end up playing a runner up. F that noise. I want Michigan to win the Big Ten and play us. I want that more than any other outcome. Beating a runner up doesn’t mean shit.
