Seventh seed would be nice. I wonder what happens with a win and what happens if they lose on Sunday? Are they still a seven with a win? With a loss?

I feel with the 4 games CL-W missed and the way we have finished the season we have a solid case for being a 6-seed. What the selection committee thinks? No idea.

I'm still hoping the experts are undervaluing us a bit.

He has UCLA still a 4-seed. We lost 1 game in OT the last 8. CL-W situation, but back playing to her old self. Pac 12 Tournament champ.

I think we earned a 5-seed.

I agree. At the very least a 5. Since they do take into account players missing games, they really should be a four seed.

They do? If that’s the case I’ll save you some time and put an * next to that. If you are Stanford, UConn, Tennessee, etc. I would be shocked if they gave the Cougs the same treatment. Will be a 6 or 7 seed I’m sure.

Oh yeah of course. I am not saying the Cougars will get a 4th or 5th seed. I am saying by the committee's own criteria, they should. But I think 6 or 7 is likely where they land.

When you think about it, there is no way that UCLA should be higher than the Cougars. Against AP top 20 teams, UCLA is 4-6, the Cougs are 6-5. WSU beat them on a neutral court, they beat them in Pauley, and the only loss was at home without CL-W. 23-6 with CL-W and 0-4 without. That says it all.

I agree 100%. I think it’s unlikely Cougs get benefit of the doubt. If that’s supposed to be part of their criteria they should look at the Cougs as a 21-8, 22-7 team reg season. In one of the best conferences yes they are a 4 or 5 seed. My guess is they are 6 or 7. Hope I’m wrong.

My guess is a 6-seed but believe they have earned a 5-seed. Attendance is factored for the 1 through 4-seeds. We don't have it, so that would take us out of any consideration to go that high. That's probably why Creme has UCLA in as a 4-seed.

Hoping this run start to get more people interested. The Friday/Sunday conference games might help.

Looking at this from a purely ranking standpoint, a number four seed should be as we enter the tournament, a team that ranges among the 13th to the 16 best teams in the country. Do I think either UCLA or WSU are? Probably not.

Do I think the Cougars are in the range of a fifth seed, 17th through 20th? I think a good argument can be made. I definitely think that at the very least, they are from 21st through 24th.

We'll just have to see next Sunday.

Yes. That is what Elise Woodward said on Pac 12 Network...and she knows her stuff.
