I was originally going to pose this as a question but have decided to simply state it: Falk is the clutchest QB we have ever had, bar none. Is there any doubt if he'd been at the controls against Michigan in '97 that would have been a Rose Bowl win?

I love Luke Falk, but I don't think a three year old QB is going to beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

It takes a certain type of person to be that clutch. They have to thrive in that type of situation and have a calmness and confidence in themselves and their team to prevail. Falk is that kind of QB. It is clear his teammates will go to the wall for him (and vice versa).

What Leaf and the 1997 accomplished is still the bar for our program. Leaf took us where we had never gone before. Best team in the Conference. Would have been in today's CFB playoff. Capped the season with an Apple Cup win.

Falk's legacy ceiling is too high to predict right now, but I'm not elevating him to Leafs 1997 season yet. Remember, Leaf was only a junior himself. Falk needs a conference championship, something we might get next year!!
