i saw a couple of tapes of the first practice. the cougs look long and much more athletic than last year. It seems like Ali may be the best PG this year. He can shoot and hopefully is better defensively than Flynn . As long as he can stay on front of his man and not do the dog trot following his man to the basket he will be a huge improvement. The first practice also showed a lot of extra energy and people trying to do more than was possible. They will settle down and we will get a better idea of who will get major minutes this year.Since Flynn is gone and other weak defensive players may see a major drop in minutes the cougs have a great chance of being a better team.
