I remember when Kelvin Sampson went on a tour of all dorms and Fraternities to try and get people to show up at Beasley. This has been going on for decades. He brought Tony Harris (RIP) and Nate Erdman with him and they looked less than enthused.

It worked though, there had been low attendance all year, but had a sellout for a ranked Cal team with Kidd and Murray and a Coug win.

Point being something has to be done to get the lazy a$$ students to show up.

Finally saw an ad, some type of Numerica event, 4PM yesterday (Today is game day) guess this is part of the MTE. My guess is 1500 actually in the seats. Free evidently for kids under 14 I think it was

Today will be awful.

The game vs Boise State will draw better simply because two Spokane kids are playing for BSU. Degenhart and Smith will bring 500+ on their own.

Speaking of Spokane kids, in hindsight, WSU may have been a better fit for Anton. He’s getting passed over at gu by the 5 star “me” players and he plays defense.

Never a shot. Played on the Griffins for Stockton with Lloyd and Few’s kids as teammates. Though Few never played.

Watching Few’s kid come in during garbage time for gu is comical.

Lots of empty seats for South Dakota State. Noon is a bit of an odd start time but agree- should draw 5-6k but I’m guessing more like 2-3k. Boise State looks like it will be a good crowd.

Yeah I'm guessing the same. Would like to see a game back in Tri-Cities rather then 2 in Spokane. Maybe Yakima? Branch out a bit if we are leaving Pulman. Don't think Spokane shows unless we already got the bandwagon loaded.
