Game. Weather

Absolutely nothing we can do about this. Weather for Eugene is Partly Cloudy, until 3PM, when the RAINS come, (it rained hard in Seattle during the overnight). Very sad, right at kickoff the rain comes, hard to catch a wet ball, and almost the entire Husky team, including the coaches will be watching.

Good. Weather is a great equalizer. As much as this is not last years Oregon, they still have more talent. Stack the box and make their crappy QBs beat our suddenly swagish corners in the rain. I like our chances.

On the other side Falk has proven he can sling it in bad weather, receivers just need to hang on to the damn ball.

Don't think rain gonna hurt us today

The rain wasn't much of a problem but the wind sure was. It was not only stiff but swirling unpredictably. I got a good impression of what was occurring on the field by looking at the refs' pants legs. One would have the back of his pant legs showing wind coming from the NW, another 20 yards away would have his pant legs indicating wind from the SE and a third ref would indicate another wind direction. Not sure whether the design of Autzen contributed to this but it was certainly a factor. Some of Falk's early throws landed well away from his target. Yellow and green confetti thrown after a Duck score spiraled upwards and then in all directions. The stadium was not confetti free for ten minutes or longer until most of it left the stadium. Very little seemed to end up at field level.
