Not a bad system to be in, KC has a stout OL.
My opinion on GMII has softened though, and unfortunately I no longer think he's the next Kurt Warner waiting to get his chance. I don't think he has the physical tools to pick an NFL defense apart with his arm in a pass first offense. I do think he would be as good as Purdy in the same situation, though.
No they don’t they have an awful OLine and they just let go arguably their best Olineman in Thuney. Their right tackle wouldn’t make half of the rosters in the league let alone starting.
That said he’s their backup and Mahomes has been pretty sturdy despite the Oline regression. He will be a good plug in when Mahomes twists an ankle and he’s spent most of his career behind shitty Olines so he’s used to it.
Yes, you are correct, it was their biggest weakness. Not sure why I thought otherwise - hopeful I guess.
Probably because they were allowed to get away with WWF level holding most of the year and through the playoffs 😂
Not a bad landing spot for Minshew at any rate. He will win plenty of games probably get some PT here and there and maybe end up with a SB ring. Plus he’s reunited with a couple of Cougs!
If they’d get rid of Juwan Howard, it would improve their OL by subtraction.
Not a terrible situation for GM, and wouldn’t surprise me if it’s his last stop. I don’t see him landing a starting job at this point.
