Gardner with Jim Rome Link

Pullman! React to me!!!

Excellent interview. The Jungle Karma supposedly never fails so it should mean a W this weekend.

Loved the deadpan. There is more than an ounce of humility there; necessary for a QB to succeed. Thanks, CD!

I was watching that live from the good ole blue house on A street. I was seriously hoping Rome would put him in the camel clutch or something.
Are you talking about the house at the corner of Colorado and A? Across from Tri Delts? If so, I lived in that house as well... in the eighties. Pre Everett ass whooping of Rome.

Edit: It was yellow when I lived there.

Edit: meant to say wish Everett put him in the camel clutch.
I had the pleasure of watching that live as well. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was an instant classic and I'm not sure Rome would have blown up without that day

These houses ring no bell. But then I was not a frat boy. I do remember the Mars Hotel (and have the Grateful Dead album), the Moose lodge and the, the other one closer to downtown. Thought it was a color name too...….

The house I lived in was actually around the corner from Tri Delts...so if you are walking down Colorado and take a right, it was a few houses up on the right.

Good times in the mid 90's..but I think you had us beat in the eighties :)

Phi Taus Blue Anex? I’ve had a lot of great memories from there!

It could have been. When I was there, it was a Pike live out...then people in my frat moved in.

We had fly tape hanging from the ceiling and the whole nine. Interior decorating at its finest.

Loyal, appropos of nothing what so ever, since you mentioned the Dead....I only learned this week that Jerry Garcia was the steel guitar in Treat Your Children Well by Crosby, Stills, etc. I was never a Dead Head and didn't realize that bit of trivia. I'm sure every Dead fan knows that, but I didn't. The song preceeded my active musical interest in that style by a couple of years and at that time in my life a steel guitar meant Buck Owens or one of the Bakersfield sound groups. I had to YouTube the song and enjoy it again. Garcia was pretty amazing with that instrument.
