No, not for football, that ship has sailed for WSU. Is anyone going to the AC/DC concert there Saturday night?
This one snuck up on me, would have loved to go. Still trying to figure out how to get to a show in this tour.

They sounded pretty decent on their tour of Europe last summer.

Holy moly they must be over 100 now! It’s incredible to me how these rock stars that spent decades throwing all sorts of shit into this body along with copious amounts of booze are still jumping around the stage.

Pickling has been used as a preservative for centuries. These guys are evidence that it also works on the human body.

IIRC, the AC/DC crew (like Rush) were near teetotalers. I recall an interview w/ Angus and crew some years ago (60 Minutes?) where they were asked about this, and they said they didn't drink.

Though I think Angus was a pretty heavy smoker.

Angus is 70.

I'll bet one of you English majors can use the words, "Mick Jagger", "embalmed", "zombie", and "living dead" in the same sentence....bonus points if you can include "Easter".

I haven't been a big AC/DC fan since Bon Scott died. All Brian Johnson does is scream - he can't sing a lick.
Let there be light, sound, drums, guitar. Oh, let there be rock!

To celebrate the Easter holiday, Mick Jagger embalmed himself, and said "I want to be a zombie like them blokes on the living dead telly."

Not an English major.

The other thing is they are playing 1, maybe 2 shows a week in front of 80-100K. That’s got to be the biggest adrenaline rush imaginable. No matter how much money you have, you could never replicate that feeling and energy.

In an appearance on Easter, Mick Jagger looked like the living dead, even though we know that he was embalmed by heavy use of illicit substances decades ago, so he can't actually become a zombie.

And I'm not even an English major.

81 year old embalmed zombie Mick Jagger overcame rumors of his presence among the living dead by getting engaged to his 37 year old girlfriend this week.

Mick can't get no satisfaction.

They're in Vancouver BC on the 22nd (Tuesday). Tickets around $200 on Stubhub.

I'm toying with the idea myself. I passed on a chance to see them in Vancouver 30 years ago, and been kicking myself ever since.

Chicago, Vegas and Nashville may work for me if I can navigate between graduations, kids sporting events and am able to ignore the fact my retirement account’s taken a big hit.

I saw them in the Boone Street Barn in the 80s so not on my bucket list but would love to see them again.
