Gonzaga to Pac-12

Maybe so, but the blueprint is there, and the campus and region have embraced them. They're perfectly situated for a strong hoops program. Growing city, no competition with professional sports teams, basketball is the top sport on campus, and they have an elite history.
They also have a complete unicorn for a head coach. How many of those old Big East have all done this before and fallen off when their HOF coach left? Nova was the only one to find their way back when they found another HOF coach.

this is far from a guarantee. many small catholic schools with more money located in more talent rich regions have fallen off after runs of success when their legendary coach retired
GU has invested. There is a waiting list for season tickets. They may have peaks and valleys, but they'll have the resources to go BAMA football style and fire coaches until they find the next Bear Bryant/Nick Saban.

So is Gonzaga going to end their medical partnership with the uw and instead partner with WSU's Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy, all pretty much across the street (or river). Think dipshit Schulz thought to throw that into the conversation?
Are you suggesting that Gonzaga end their medical partnership with UWMC because they've changed athletic conferences?

Yes I am. What's wrong with that? WSU moving 2 colleges to Spokane and creating a Med school is bigtime investment. Yet Gonzaga, right down the street, not 280 miles away like UW, basically chooses not to collaborate with WSU.

So yes, they should end their partnership with the mutts and go all in with WSU. It is better for the Spokane community as well.

I hate f-ing Gonzaga. A basketball team with a second-rate college attached.

There was an article (or articles) years ago that indicated WSU approached GU to partner and they declined. Later dub asked GU to partner and GU accepted. GU then asked WSU for use of the cadaver lab and WSU allowed it.

And why the F did WSU allow that? Grrrr......

We wanted to partner and they did not want to partner? I'll never know the details, but sure seemed like GU was working against a WSU Med-school and then aligned with dub to compete against it. Seems relatively straightforward from the looks of it.

I guess the larger point is it's seems pretty doubtful IMO they would partner with WSU on this unless they were more on equal or in a stronger position.

Gonzaga is not a 2nd rate school, but the sports programs and fake fan base can F right off

Hey! We agree on some things! Gold stars for us both I say. :) :)

We can agree to disagree on Gonzaga's academic prowess. Cuz I don't really give a shit.
