Cougs sit at 15-8 on the year and more importantly 5-4 in conference play. They just finished off the sweep of ASU this weekend. Starting pitching, bullpen and some key bats seem to be leading to the improvement. Nathan Choate seems to be fitting in nicely.

Nice. Sure wish they could've pulled out one of those one-run losses at home to Utah a couple of weeks ago. Long way to go, but the team is better than I expected.

BTW Kurt, how is your nephew progressing? Where is he expected to play this year, High A or maybe even AA? Good luck to him.

That would be cool if he's in Eugene. You would probably be able to see him play quite a bit....other NWL teams include Everett, Hillsboro, Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver.
