It’s one thing to be fiery and animated on the bench.Hasn't been all year. It all starts with Riley. Shit rolls downhill. Coach acts like that so do the players.
Missed it. What happenedRiley needs to represent our university better.
Yapping at opposing players and then acting surprised when they won’t shake hands post game is bush league. Coach your own team.
Bench demeanor isn’t good.
Riley yelled “airball” at an LMU player in the closing minute. Seems harmless but that’s bush league for a coach to address another teams player.
Someday he’s going to get his team into an altercation and it’s going to be ugly.
Riley is evidently very slowly learning how to Coach. Very slowly he has determined that turnovers kill, that Coaches Bench antices get the bench T's. Next is to learn that basketball is won with defense, and fundamentals not just offense. He had the offense part down but there was a reason this was his first post-season win.

I coached for years. That is dick move in the first minute or the last. Maybe coach your team to play some damned defense instead. If he yelled Airball at a opposing player mid game to try to get under a opponents skin psychologically to try to get them to either continue to miss 3's or to get discouraged and not take 3's and thus not make 3's, that would be 1 thing, understandable.
But with 1 minute left in game with a 17 point lead, yelling Airball at an opponent, really is Bush league, insulting, low class, etc, even if semi harmless.
