Some of you that probably know WSU basketball history better then I do can correct me.
But that said, I dont think, pretty sure that no other player in Modern Semi Recent WSU History has gotten to 40 point in a game as a SOPHMORE.
I know Noah's Father Guy, got 43, but that was as a Junior, Senior I think.
CJ(37)(Junior), Ike Fontaine(38)(Junior, Senior), Klay(about 36, 37,38,39)(Junior)
Non WSU(Pac 12 players): Michael Dickerson(Played for Arizona vs IKE)(38)
NBA players(When they were in College):
Klay(Mentioned Above), Michael Dickerson(Mentioned Above), CJ(Mentioned Above), Guy(Mentioned Above).
None of the Above mentioned players, and NO WSU players have gotten 40 IN THEIR SOPHMORE YEAR(Plenty have gotten to 40 or extremely close to 40 during their Senior Years).
Pretty sure that there probably has been a past Pac 12 player that has gotten to 40 in Sophmore year.
In any case, I think that demonstrates, says, that there is a EXTREMELY HIGH PROBABILITY, LIKELYHOOD, that Noah is not only a future NBA Prospect, but a NBA 1st round in Draft candidate, prospect.
So Noah is Better then Bonton, is the best player on team, is a NBA Pro to be.
Bonton if he comes back, and even if he doesnt is a NBA PROSPECT.
Also there is No question, doubt that EFE Abogidi, is probably a FUTURE NBA PROSPECT.
And Dischon Jackson, or Koulibaly, orAJ, one of those 3 might probably be a probably be a FUTURE NBA PROSPECT.
So 1,2 Extremely Probable, NBA Pros
2,3 Likely FUTURE NBA Prospects
And maybe 1 more for 4 FUTURE NBA prospects.
As such I think that WSU's/Smith's team with those likely 1,2,3,4 FUTURE NBA players/FUTURE NBA PROSPECTS, are comparable to the Michigan Fab Five(5 NBA players), Duke(2,3,4 NBA players in team, in 1 season), Florida Gators,(That had 2,3,4 NBA players on team, in 1 Season, Kentucky(That had 2,3,4,5 NBA players on a team), North Carolina, UCLA, UNLV(All had 2,3,4,5 NBA players on team, in single season.
Now I am not saying WSU will have same results as those teams, as I dont think the results will be same.
I am just saying the ONLY way WSU will be like those teams is having 2,3,4 FUTURE NBA PLAYERS, PROSPECTS on 1 team within a 1,2,3,4 year period of time, same seasons.
And as such I think WSU wins 17,18,19 wins this season(easily doable), goes to NIT.
And then next year(if Bonton comes back), WSU would probably win 21,22,23 games, NCAA 2nd round, Sweet 16.
And Season after that, during Noah's Senior Season, if he comes back, WSU would probably win 25,26,27 games and NCAA tourny, and Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4.
I think WSU's, Noah's, Smith's basketball future is extremely bright.
But oh no there is a poster here who thinks this being said is rediculous.
