says the millions and #1 overall pick can wait. There is no way in hell I am leaving Eugene without 1 win against those DAMN COUGS.

See this is where we chant.

“Those damn Cougs! those damn Cougs! those damn Cougs!” Over and over and over the next game.

I guess the draft hype is based on his size, and good athletic ability for his size. He's got a good arm, but not special. He's generally accurate, but not phenomenal. If he's the presumptive #1 draft pick or first QB taken, it's a bad year for QBs. I'd compare him to Brock Osweiler (2nd round pick).

That type of thinking would not bode well in the Wunderlich scores.

Take the damned money.

If Herbert wants to risk being another Matt Barkley, more power to him. John Elway was in Eugene for the UO-UW game and reportedly liked what he saw in Herbert. Denver would be a tremendous place for a highly drafted QB to go....I still think there's a good chance he'll go pro.

Glad Cougar

Just saw this on O-Live:

Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert says he hasn't even considered what he'll do next season, let alone made a decision yet.

"I haven't thought three seconds about it," Herbert said Tuesday. "I haven't even talked to my parents about it and it hasn't crossed my mind at all. I know that coach (Mario) Cristobal and I and the team, we made a decision not to talk about it or think about it. I'm not quite sure what was reported, but haven't really spent any time on it at all."
