I hope Chun, Smith, show up to this, have, has a presence, etc, in Spokane, and at the Hoopfest in Tri Cities, Yakima, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Portland, etc, if not this year, then next year, at latest.

Part of the reason for Raveling, Sampson's, Recruiting success, was the Cage, Camp events and being at, supporting, endorsing, having a presence at Hoop's Fest Like Events.

Moos, past AD's, coaches, have not had influence, booths, presences at these events.

And thats part of the reason why Spokane, Tri Cities, Yakima, Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, etc, havent been interested in WSU Coug sports, Football, Basketball, in both fan wise, recruiting wise.

So because of that, that why WSU needs a presence at these events.

I hope WSU has a presence at these events in the future.

But until I see it, hear about it,somebody tells, shows about it, I wont believe it.

I havent seen, heard about any WSU participation in these events in a long time.

A YEARLY WSU booth at the event each year, with the Coug Mascot, with some of the football players, basketball players, coach leach, coach Smith, Chun, signing autographs, past WSU players forming Hoopsfest teams, winning Hoopfest, etc, would sure go a long way in, to building up WSU fan base, getting fans to come to games, and to help recruit future top local area recruits.

WSU is always at hoopfest.

WSU is always at hoopfest.

If WSU is always at Hoopfest, it must be the smallest, hardest to find booth,in the crappiest, worst spot in all of downtown Spokane smaller, harder to then Idaho, EWU, Gonzaga, etc

I can always find those other booths. They have coaches, players at their booths.

But I usually cant find WSU's booth.

And on the extremely rare 1, couple, of times that either WSU had a booth, or that I found their booth, the booth was small, 1, 2 no names from WSU marketing dept. No coaches, no players, etc, crap booth, presence.

It should be a BIG easy to find booth and presence.

Seconds after arriving at Hoopfest, I should see the WSU presence either immediatly or very soon.

There should be coaches, players at the booth, giving autographs, giving out, selling WSU gear, etc.

Butch the Coug, Mascot, should be there, entertaining crowds, people.

People should be getting pictures taken with the mascot Butch Coug, an or the coaches, players.

Big Name Past WSU players should have a semi official 3 on 3 team, with 4,5,6 players, that semi officially, unofficially reps WSU.

That team should be making the final 2,3,4 on Center Court, and should occasionally win the whole Hoopfest event.

WSU, Chun, Coaches, Players, media, should be ADVERTISING getting the word out about WSU presence, booth being at Hoopfest, where at, in Hoopfest downtown area, park, that will be, and that they will be signing autographs, etc.

Part of this advertising should be on TV, radio, Newpapers, online, etc.

This is what Gonzaga does.

And it should be what WSU does.

Its why, how Gonzaga has built its program, fan base.

Its how WSU will build its program, fan base.

Its worth the time, money, etc.

WSU had a booth manned by women's basketball players when I was there right where all the other colleges were set up justwest of the carousel. They actually had a really long line of people lined up to spin a wheel to get some freebie swag when I was there. Would have been cool to see Elleby in there or Coach Smith but they were doing a decent job.

Thanks it is great to see someone telling the truth on this board. It seems like the fantasists and illogical hold sway on this board

Various teams had different time slots. The MBB team was there at 5PM

This is definitely a step in the right direction. Admittedly, I wasnt there at hoopfest last year, and my experiences have been in the past, and unfortunately I wasnt able to make it to Hoopfest this year. Wish I had been able to make it this year.

Cougs did have a strong showing. I was only there when the volleyball team was there. Those girls are tall!

Middle blockers and outside hitters are all 6’2 - 6’5.
Very young, I believe 13 Freshman and RS Freshman. 3 stellar seniors to include defensive specialist, middle blocker, and setter, but reliant on foreign born players to play the net.
This year could be a bit of a rebuild for Jen, but watch out over the next 2-3 years. Coug V’ball is great fun on a football weekend.
