My Hail Mary is ACC/Big XII realignment (ship some of the east coast schools to the ACC, add the Pac-4 to the Big XII), then shore up the relationship between the conferences with scheduling agreements and bowl matchups. The ACC and Big XII are currently more stable, but by no means are they out of the woods. Both will want a seat at the table for the expanded CFP, and working together might (might, emphasize on might) create a little leverage.
