Nobody's saying 11-2 is anything other than a great season. It's not even up for debate.
What I'm saying is they're delusional to think they occupy any of the CFB world's thoughts for a second. As I said, 10 teams finished with 11+ wins, and that list goes well beyond Bama/UGA/tOSU. They did it once and now they think they're the Kardashians of college football?
If we could apply a "national notoriety index" based on program history, fan base size, team success, recruiting and flash, Alabama would be a 99 (highest), Georgia and tOSU and Clemson would be mid- to low-90s, FSU and Michigan and Auburn and LSU and Texas and USC in the 80s, Oregon and Wisconsin and Penn State and UF in the 70s... UW is clearly top half but I can't see them higher than the 60s, meaning they have about 1/3 as much of the national "mind share" as they think they do. They won half a natty in 1991. It's been 30+ years and they've done nothing other than get smashed in a CFP semi by Alabama. You have to grow your trophy cabinet if you want people to keep thinking about you, and they haven't.
