I’ve been a diehard Coug fan since the late 1970s, but all of the corporatization, NIL, and realignment has finally beaten me down. I walked out of the stadium tonight not caring about the loss. I think I’ve reached the end of the line.

Me too. I am done. I hate what the transfer portal, NIL, and realignment have done to WSU. I have other interests that I will pursue.

I’ve been going to games for approaching 40 years. I can count on my fingers the number of home games I’ve missed in the last 30. I kept my season tickets - even upgraded them - during the Wulff years. I didn’t miss a game even when I had zero doubt we’d lose big.
I couldn’t go today, and honestly…the relief over skipping the drive exceeded the disappointment of missing the game. Turned it on TV, and did something I’ve never done. I turned it off at halftime.

I don’t leave games early. But the game was over by half. It was pathetic.

There's no EPL this weekend due to the international break, and I have a weekend with zero plans for the first time in awhille. I had to force myself to even turn on a game or anything CFB related. It's been that way for me for awhile, so I understand that feeling (and I'm saying that with empathy).

My Big Cats were much worse & for far longer before 1989. Now look @ us.
Stick with the Big Cats.

If we go to G5, I'm certainly going to take it down a notch, or two. Can't fathom playing in the Mountain West.

Starting with my WSU Plates, the pride is gone. That's only if we go G5. If we lose Dickert....that's another blow.

I won’t be embarrassed to play G5 ball. It would be more embarrassing trying to compete in a superconference with the lowest NIL in the league.

We have more in common with Boise, OSU, Fresno, and SDSU than we do with Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and USC.
