I believe the Beresford’s brothers are heading to

Boise State .
Some people like to downgrade in leagues, others want to play against the best players in front of them. It’s baffling since Beresford was starting player guess he didn’t like moving his feet.

My pure guess is it has more to do w/his brother who I don’t believe was getting any playing time

Hell of a chance to take if his brother doesn't pan out at Boise.

My pure guess is they are not fans of the politics in this state. My community has a lot of people moving across the line to Idaho. Little brother was pretty young he had time to work up the depth chart.
I hate to see a starter leave, but I hope they do well in football and life.

Doubt it. How old is he? 20? 21?

If I had to guess, maybe he’s not a fan of McGuire and the Air Raid returning.

What does age have to do with it? Serious question.
I believe their dad played at boise st in the 90's
Then why didn't you lead with that? His father being a legacy football player would more likely be the reason than a 20-21 making a decision to transfer schools because they disagree with state politics. That is a Grand Canyon sized jump. For all we know, they are non-political, or liberal.

Maybe the decision to transfer to Boise State was for academic reasons?

BSU doesn't have a med school or vet school, but their Long Haul Trucker Studies program surpasses anything in this state.

They decided to leave, it’s unfortunate for the football team, but it is their life and they are allowed to choose their own direction. I hope they find what they are looking for. And in the meantime it opens the door for someone else.

what color line do they desecrate the American flag with?

Occam's Razor here, guys. It's almost certainly about Jack having a shot to play, with Cade's likely "downside" being a starter on a pretty good G of 5 team after showing he can play in the Pac-12. Their dad played at Boise State. Other than my doubt that Cade has given full thought to what it means to get a Boise State degree, it's pretty understandable. 20-year olds aren't transferring due to state-level politics. C'mon. This article sheds some more light. https://www.bronconationnews.com/br...e-transfers-brothers-cade-and-jack-beresford/

You literally just made a gay slur at me and have the audacity to say I lack intelligence and maturity.
That was a slur? Don't be so sensitive. The rainbow flag is a symbol for acceptance of people of ALL persuasions.

Well that could be the case . If so parents better move during summer months cause the boys sure won’t like having to show their vax cards at the bars in king county if that is the case .

I would suggest having 5 positions coaches, the desire to play in the NFL and the belief he is an NFL player splitting time at guard doesn’t seem to be working . Also he came in with a class that is gone.

Finally he might be more of an urban guy.

I didn't lead with that, because I just read it on a boise st site. I'm surprised I was the first to read it.
I agree that their dad being a legacy is a bigger reason; but the 20-25 yr olds in my community are pretty tired of our state's politics and mandates. Many are moving, they are young enough don't have roots down. As I said my first comment was a pure guess (but it's happening here).

I hope it works out better for beresford than it did for four other people who didn’t like the mandate .

How many 20 year olds do you know that are that committed to their politics?
Not our Governor or former Governor.

Inslee admitted that while he was dodging the Vietnam draft at the UW he partied and didn't protest.

His grades as a former Ingraham jock were nothing special - ended up at a 3rd tier law school in Oregon.

Same for Gregoire, head of a UW sorority that banned blacks and she did nothing. Also couldn't get into UW law.

Boise is pretty liberal. Liberal in the classic liberal sense - not the progressive woke redefinition. A study of John Locke and Adam Smith would likely solve 90% plus of the problems ailing this country right now. The other 10% are the shiny objects the red and blue "leaders" would prefer us to focus upon.

Wouldn't surprise me at it's a combination of legacy and belief systems/values. There's a reason places like Austin, Salt Lake City, Boise and, even Spokane are blowing up with ex-pats from the extreme blue camp of wokeism.

This move just happens to involve a couple football playing brothers, too.

Why is the thought that they are transferring so Jack has a better chance to play? I mean, I'm not totally familiar with Boise's depth chart at LB or DL, but I don't assume it's any thinner than ours.

If just Jack had transferred and ended up at Eastern or something, I'd be inclined to think it was PT related. Both of them going to Boise though? That just doesn't add up. Something else was going on, IMO.

Jack didn’t want to be in Pullman. It doesn’t sound like where he wanted to be originally but had no other options . I think for Cade he wants the NFL and I think he is hearing he is a prospect and splitting time won’t get that done . Plus he has been in Pullman for four years , many in his class are gone . So I think there are several reasons he pulled out . We will see if it works out for him .
