Regardless of what anyone has stated on this, this is not a good sign. One of your leaders is gone. He seemed to be a good attitude guy so I am troubled by this.Originally posted by ttowncoug:

Seems to be his MO. If you are a 3rd year player and don't project to contribute as a solid player the next year, you go.
You know this is the one and only reason...or conjecture/speculation?Originally posted by CougEd:
out there. By all accounts he was beaten out because of production. He wants to play, he doesn't like the uncertainty that if he doesn't perform that he won't play. He wants guaranteed playing time. It is only natural.
If it wasn't the reason, then he would've left last year or the year before during Leach's first year. Like others said, Peyton took his spot and I'm guessing next year Leniu might overtake him too. You have both of those guys at his spot, he's sitting the bench his whole senior year.Originally posted by How_did_this_happen?:

It's hard to lead from the bench. I'm sure he was a good kid, and we all wish him the best, but he packed his bags and walked out on the team after he lost his starting job. Not many "leaders" do that.Originally posted by How_did_this_happen?:
