I'm wondering if that spam attack will be a one off or if we replay to all the previous valid threads we will bury all the bullshit below the good content.

I am also wondering why it shows so many views of the spam posts? Are my fellow Cougs that dumb that they want to check out all those posts that are clearly spam, or do the bots actually have a way of making it look like their posts are getting action?

Oh poo. And OK sorry - I was fed up all the BS and personal attacks from one particular individual and lashed out inappropriately. I actually went back to look for and delete my nasty post and couldn't find it in the multiple dung heap threads we had/have going. My bad.

This spambot thing shows no sign of ending, and I don't see a way to contact Rivals and ask for help. Which they probably would not give us, as I imagine this site generates almost -0- revenue for them. Guess I will take a break and hope the smoke clears in a couple of days.

Edit - I rooted around the Rivals site, and it points back to the individual site moderator to seek help. Guess we are screwed for now....
