Apparently attempted to engineer a coup to poach the top MWC and AAC schools to join the Pac-4, in an effort to create a new power 5 level conference. It failed, but you have to love the balls. It is the proactiveness and ingenuity we need going forward. Imagine an AD that comes to work daily thinking of ways to get WSU ahead....! Sticking with Chun and Schultz just means wallowing in the bacon grease, hoping things just fry up right.

Regents -- it time to do some house cleaning! Its that or the Big Sky in about 10 years as we get out maneuver at every turn.

The SDSU President was totally humiliated with the "Exit Letter" incident and then having to "Crawl Back" to the MWC and then bending over to pay for the MWC attorneys.

Seems she is acting with anger and a clouded mind. Now she can add another failure to her resume.

He’s a Coug. Or former assistant AD

You are confusing the president with the AD. But frankly, they are actually trying. Clearly SDSU is the west equivalent of FSU, unhappy with where they are at. Maybe it is that fear of failure, being made to look foolish and having a bad mark on "the resume" that is holding Chun and Schulz back. Personally, I want guys that put the schools interest over their resume first. I think that Schulz et al wouldn't be seen so negatively right now, had they tried but failed to secure that last Big-12 spot. MWC's crappy media deal is not in SDSU's interest, WSU joining the MWC isn't in in our best interest either.

I don't take away from anyone for looking out for their schools best interest. You have to do what you have to do. The SDSU President was driving what they were trying to do. She may have all the best intentions and plans but she hasn't been able to successfully implement one thing. Basically, what I mean is that I wouldn't hire her for anything that is going to involve sports. The AD was just along for the ride in my opinion. His name is almost never mentioned except when he tweeted "Fake News".

I know John David Wicker from my WSU days. Solid, really nice guy. Deep Southern accent. Just enjoyed talking to him. He's done well, and I hope to shake his hand again someday. But he's not coming home, I believe he makes more at SDSU than Chun makes at WSU. And deservedly so. I have ragged on Chun for years, and been chastised for it. Well I wasn't wrong. He sucks, Schulz sucks, and as a result we are f-ed.

Chun's metal was just tested, and he shattered into a million pieces. Utterly worthless in our hour of need. I never blamed him for not digging us out of the Moos/Floyd hole, it was going to be tough. But this lack of preparedness and que sera sera attitude, I can never forgive.

I wonder if the Pac-12 issue will impact whether or not Chun gets the Ohio State job?
