They are playing on the road and they are likely a much much better team at the high altitudes at home. But, their defense is getting ripped apart in the air in the first half. They give a lot of cushion and give up a lot of underneath completions . That is a big part of the Cougs offense. They are also getting beat deep along the sidelines. Tay Martin and Winston are going to enjoy watching the video.

Regarding their offense, USC is killing them. Unfortunately, where USC is dominating them is USC's defensive line is destroying CU's offensive line. Our Cougs DL is not as good as the 4 and 5 star athletes that USC has.

However, all the Cougs defense needs to do is slow CU down, as I think WSU can put points on the board against them.

Their offense is toothless if you can tackle well in space. Montez has a 75% completion percentage, but 40% of his passes are thrown behind the line of scrimmage. SC turned all of those plays into tackles for loss. It was hard to watch. They didn't throw down field until they were out of it. They might prove to be really bad. They're gonna get stomped in Seattle next week and Utah will handle them. Without looking at their schedule they could be lucky to win 2 more games. They do have the one WR that is a handful.

That 1 guy is basically their whole team.

Laviska Shenault Jr. is going to be a very high draft pick. He really is good. He reminds me of former USC, Carolina Panther and Baltimore Raven receiver Steve Smith. He was injured in yesterday's game. If it is a lingering injury, CU is in trouble.

Feeling more confident about the game in Colorado now.
Also the team will be favored against Arizona and Cal as both games are at home.
Oregon, Stanford and UW will be tough to win but I won't be counting them out of any of these.

Stanford is not looking as strong either having been blown out in their last two games. The loss to Utah was especially bad coming at home and losing by 19.

I will not be the least bit surprised if both the north and south champs each have 2 Pac12 losses.

Yeah we can't take anyone for granted. There are no gimmie games. We control our own destiny.

1st we have to take care of business with Oregon. The team should be playing their heart out with Gameday and all the implications on the game.

Stanford will be a hard road test, but we've seen they are vulnerable and honestly I think their QB is HORRIBLE.

Then we have Cal at home a game we should win if we don't overlook them. It's in Pullman and we should have people jacked about the team returning home.

Then the other tough road game at Colorado, but I am hoping for a big Borghi performance as he has circled that game as important to him personally and all his family will be there.

That brings us back home to face a limping Khalil Tate and Arizona in Pullman. There will not be a repeat of last year when he ran all over us. We should win this game.

Finally there is UW and the Apple Cup. Hopefully they are battered after playing Stanford and a wild Oregon State and with Minshew's energy and swag we slay them at home.

It really is possible for us to win out. Every game is winable. We've seen every single team we are facing with vulnerabilities.

The 4 hard games are Oregon, @Stanford, @Colorado, and UW at home.
The lighter games are Cal and Arizona at home.

We don't have to play perfect games, we just have to play well consistently and clean up special teams and our man coverage. Do what we do well and keep doing it and we can win out.

He looks way bigger than a Steve Smith, but both are/were hard to get down. He's 6'2", 205. The only saving grace is he's not real quick initially and have a chance to hands on him. Even then it's not enough unless you have more than one guy on him and if gets a head of steam, look out. I don't understand why they don't attempt more stuff downfield. The way they called that game in the first 3 quarters, they might as well have punted on 1st down every possession.
