I agree and WSU is overachieving where UW is doing what the richest school in the North should be doing.

Now if you put Leach at other schools. Same tenure. Do you think he does better? If Leach was given the resources of UW/UCLA/USC does he do better?

Now if you put Petersen with the resources of Oregon State / WSU does he do the same or worse? Same tenure.

I think that’s an easy question to answer. Given the financial and recruiting advantages of UW they give Petersen an edge that others don’t have.

Where as Leach’s coaching creates its own advantage.

Yeah I’m not sure what he’s saying. Peterson has won pretty much zero big games outside of the AC (you want to count a garbage South champ this year I guess) and he’s been dealt some good cards with the circumstances surrounding the AC. Yeah he is what he is. A decent coach in a conference where the heavyweights have gone through lots of turmoil. He’s also had a four year starting QB he couldn’t develop.

Boise St was also well resourced in comparison to the rest of the schools in the WAC and later the Mountain West.

If Pete weren't an excellent coach we would have seen him fail by now. He's not in the same league as Meyer or Saban or Swinney...but he's in the next tier I believe. Leach is right there with Petersen in my opinion. He's done fantastic at resource-challenged schools.
