and since WSU hasn't officially said anything, Hawaii has confirmed it.
(Maybe this is posted somewhere else, but there's too many threads that are too long for me to weed through.)
Also, reading through the comments sounds very similar to those we've been seeing. Hawaii feels our pain.
Not sure about the rest of his staff. Seems like there's quite a bit of homegrown guys there (played for Hawaii), and lots of guys that have relatively short resumes. GOtta think he wants to bring his OC with him, and Mark Banker has some good experience as DC (but he's LB coach at Hawaii...and seems like his defenses were petering out in his later years at Oregon State). Those are the two who look most interesting to me, but I'd assume that one of them is likely to be their new HC.
Of UH's remaining assistants, Ricky Logo looks like the next most interesting. He's their DL coach. Of our remaining staff, I wouldn't mind keeping Phelps, but won't shed a tear either way.
Not really sold on UH's current DC. They weren't that solid and his resume isn't that impressive (or long). I'd be OK if Rolovich gives Banker another shot, or if he goes another route (I still like Clayton White from Western Kentucky, but don't expect a coach from Hawaii to reach out that far).
