I think it's the height, and lack of pillars for support. Assuming they use FieldTurf, the turf alone is around $700,000.

They need to get the cross laminated timber industry to do a promo job for the large spans. It’s the plan to use that for U of I’s new basketball facility if they can ever get the going.
