It was my understanding it was going to be going in the exact, same place as the bubble, possibly even reusing the foundation

Hopefully Schultz/Chun find some way to creatively relocate and re-purpose The Bubble since it cost $14M to build back in the early 2000's.

Gotta figure there are some good uses for it going forward

Per a Brand X article from 2020:

"... Washington State is replacing the original turf that was installed when the 87,000-square-foot, $13.7 million facility opened in 2002."

Good to see ttown's explanation ... that should help WSU's tennis program recruit more top players.
