First team all-american PG (CSI) who had an undefeated season was in for a visit. His first official visit at D1. He is from Alaska. Big time scorer shooting 40% from 3, 50% field and 90% from the line.

Staff continues to recruit.

Interesting. Apparently signed with Alaska-Anchorage out of HS. First year covid year, second year red shirt. Appears to have blossomed at CSI. Maybe a late bloomer. I couldn't find any highlights which seems odd to me in this day and age.

Noticed on Verbal Commits that Solomon Ominu is still listed as committed. Anyone have any idea what his status is?

Maybe a little bit of Roberts and Bonton? Looks pretty quick, which we could definitely use. Can shoot, but willing passer as well. Interesting prospect.

On Ominu, pretty sure there were posts about him having some sort of visa issue. The feeling was there was no chance it would get resolved. Too bad. He looks like a good prospect.

Welcome back MIDRANGE JUMPER.

43% from 3

92% from freethrow line.

5 Assist per game.

15 PPG, and he had game high of 34 points against SNOW college(Snow College is good enough that they would keep things close, competitive against WAC, Big Sky, WCC, Mountain West teams. They would not consistently win, but it would be close, competitive, most games.)

As a FRESHMAN.

Only concern I have is he takes a LOT of CONTESTED Midrange Jumpers, but at least he still makes them despite that.

And concerned about his taking a LOT of CONTESTED 3 pointers, but again he makes a lot of them.

And as a freshman he has room for improvement to shoot even better and score even more and get more assist, etc, especially if he takes more OPEN shots, instead of CONTESTED shots.

He also is good at creating his own shot, and creating opportunities for teammates.

Anyone know how many turnovers he does or does not get?

Also what's his size, weight? He looks like he is about 5 foot 11 to 6-2

Moses signed with UC Riverside.

Oh well, figured that wouldn't get both of Moses, Wells, and only get 1 of them.

While I don't think Wells is as good as Moses, he Wells is nothing to snide at either and will probably be semi good, eventually and is probably still a good get.
