Curious whether anyone knows how UW manages to not piss off all these coaches (or so it seems; could just be that it's out there, too, and I'm not hearing about it). Is it because UW is taking more of these programs' players as walk-ons, it has assistants give them some face time (since it's much easier to do for them) or other staff members sending their players letters regarding "interest," these coaches have more of an expectation that they can get WSU to offer their Sun Belt- and Big Sky-destined players than they do with respect to UW, the coaches have greater misgivings about being out there criticizing the UW staff on social media, or something else?
Could just be that our coaches are, in fact, just blowing off these guys or interacting with them and being idiots. We certainly heard that about Leach and all know the story there, but part of the jawboning from Rolo was that he was going to recruit more in-state. Guess the interview process should have asked him whether he or his staff were going to be morons, too.
