Our new Quality Control assistant was a WR at TT. Here are his highlights. The boy never gave up. Same routes we run. He just would drag a few D boys with him.

I hope that he can do some coaching at the WR position. Somehow it is hard to imagine a QB trying to coach WR.s in route running and other nuances of being a good W. It seems like it takes more than X's and O's to upgrade football skills. Leach has a line coach who never played O line and a receivers coach who may never has run a route during his whole football career. This hire makes a lot of sense.

As I understand it, he can't have any direct contact (or maybe just "coaching") with the players. NCAA regulates the number of coaches and he isn't among them. Hence his AWESOME title of "Quality Control" for the O.
