My guess is Stribbling is next. The offensive side of the ball seemed to have bonded more with Rolo and JDL than the school … which is fine . Billy Newman said it best- buy in or leave . If an attempt to keep you in class and keep you on the field somehow bothers you(read as mandate) then they should go where they are happy.
Rolo isn’t coaching at Arizona either. I’m sorry but these kids are getting stupid with the transferring. Not that my bitching about it is going to do any good but things will not work out better for most of them that bail. For every Tay Martin there are 10 guys that catch 20 passes at New Mexico State.

Who knows Why do any of them leave? Doesn’t seem to be all that much rhyme or reason to it anymore.
Because we now live in a society fueled by instant gratification. The days of 18 y/o understanding/accepting that working your way up the depth chart and paying your dues is behind us. Victim mentality also plays into it. Not just football, I also see it in staffing. A 22 y/o recent comp sci grad now a days believes he/she should be receiving the same salary as a 42 y/o with 20 years experience. This country has become soft. Entitlement mentality has permeated our youth, when you receive your participation trophy as a 6 y/o you start believing everybody wins (all the time) in the game of life. Need more Billy Newman's and less Adam James's

When the Hobert portal news broke, the first thing coming to mind for me were some quotes from his old man allowing the implication that he might not have been the stereotypical "Seattle" kind of guy when he was at UW (or since), and it seemed he might have some views regarding the Rolo situation that could be held with some degree of conviction. Further inferred the apple might not fall far from the tree. Will leave it there if people want to extrapolate or, hopefully, not. Just think that may be part of the picture here.

If true good for being true to his convictions . Would have been better if he declined being on the leadership counsel so they could have put someone one on initially who wanted to be here and part of the program
