Jesus, unless its a regional thing like staying close to mama, what the f is the hold up? does he want to play for a winner or not? BC? Maryland? Nebraska? Really?
You gotta know someone is in his ear....could be Mama could be some Florida schools coming in last minute....could be both. Did Black Label ever take an "official" visit to Pullman?
Just checked his twitter. Nothing about WSU. No tweets about WSU since he committed back in Sept. Not looking good.
We don't know what the situation is. Maybe it's between a new Florida school and WSU. In the end if he wants to come to Pullman then you want a committed player.

It wouldn't be as big of a deal if Gabriel Lopez had sent in his LOI. Two DE's are no shows.
It'd still be a big deal. We lack serious depth on the DL.
Just pointing out that he doesn't have to sign today. I think he has two more days for the early signing period, and of course can sign during the late signing period too. If he's undecided, someone is coming in late, or whatever, waiting is an easy decision for him to make. It's always possible WSU backed off too.
Going forward the needs for this class look like LB, CB and S. And that's with or without Walker. I'm sure Leach will want a receiver too. But, IMO the WR depth chart is way too clogged as is. Some of these guys just need to step up.
Given that he didn't pull his verbal until today.......I'm betting that WSU told him that if he wasn't willing to sign, we were going to move on.
Or it's been in the works for a while. Freeman getting added in so quickly implies to me this wasn't a surprise to the coaches. 8 spots to fill between now and Feb.

If the RB is a bigger dude like King, sure. Otherwise all 8 can go to the D side, imo.

His offer sheet is better than everyone not named De Laura in our class. So if WDWHA, what does it say about your thoughts on the rest of the class?
The funny thing is, this will be the class that sticks and wins the Rose Bowl. And it will be all because of how workmanlike the group is. I’ll be disappointed in the flips and lack of defensive talent and it will produce a bunch of stars because that’s how it goes.
