If he is any good as an investment the money has already been shown to him through his own work. Take a couple of tickets and move on....
Or he could take the reported two million and do as he pleases. Considering Judge is making $19M this season (plus playoffs and additional marketing money from this event) and the Yankees are worth an estimated $6B, I'm not gonna bag on Youman for making the most of his good luck.
Since the athletes are only interested in the money, I don't think they should be treated any differently. It is a 2 way street.
He got lucky, If you win a 2 million dollar lotto ticket are you going to give it back? Judge doesn't need the money. take the 2 million. And pull a good PR move, and give 25% or more to charity. The Government will take half of it anyway, minimize the amount the government gets.
This shows how happy his wife is for him. This guy seems to be doing, uh, OK in life. It befits his status as a Coug.
