Moos made a huge mistake in bringing him here. He's gone the JC route, hasn't built depth, hasn't recruited well, he's opted for the quick fix.

Time to right the wrong. Negotiate a buy-out payment stream. Have Kent announce his retirement. Everyone saves face.

Bring Bennett ball back...or someone that can run that system.

The biggest mistake we made was in not hiring Ben Johnson as HC when Tony left. He wanted to stay, and did stay for awhile under Bone. He was our Australian pipeline. There he is - at Portland. Let's go get him. Aron Baynes would approve.

Sampson, and even Eastman, Bone, (during Eastman's, Bones, winning years, showed that either can win or if not win, can at least recruit well, talented, athletic, skilled players, recruits, that are suited to fast tempo), showed that can win, recruit to fast tempo, and play defense, limit turnovers, etc, in run, gun, fast tempo, up and down, etc.

Bennetball is not the only way to win at WSU.

Raveling, Sampson have proved that.

But regardless of whether its Bennetball or Raveling, Sampson ball, you need, want, have to bring in a coach with a good system, that can recruit to, that can develop players, that recruits a good mix of freshman/JC, that can coach X, O, players, games well, that can hire awesome recruiters, awesome assistant coaches, can focus on both offense, defense, that can use all the above to win at least semi consistently year after year.

So far only Raveling, Sampson, Bennets have been able to do that.

And Eastman, Bone, and Especially Graham, and Kent have not been able to do that.

Thats why Kent needs to be fired, and a new Raveling like, Sampson Like, Bennet Like coach be hired.

But that can be easier said then done here at WSU.
