Klay Thompson breaks Warriors teammate Steph Curry's NBA single-game 3-point record

actually on the floor just 26 minutes - pretty crazy - play the whole game and score 100 like Wilt

There have been over 150,000 games played in NBA history.

Here are the total number of games in which a player scored more than 50 points in fewer than 30 minutes:

Klay Thompson: 2
Everyone else who’ve played in NBA: zero

Let that sink in, Cougs!
I’ve got to think that Wilt did as well on his way to 100 :)

Wilt 41 at halftime, 69 after three - no details on when he hit 50

36 / 63 plus 28 FT

love this (from wiki):

"Chamberlain had spent the night before the game in New York City, partying all night with a female companion before dropping her off at her home at 6am"

now that's my idea of game prep :)

The accomplishment was to score 50 points or more in a game while actually seeing less than 30 minutes of total playing time. Only Klay has done that (his other game was 60 points in 29 minutes).

Wilt might have done it on his way to 100 - he had 41 points at half time (24 minutes). He scored a third of his points in the 4th quarter when his team was fouling in the back court so they could get the ball back quicker.

Per Wilt, he slept with 20,000 women. Spending an entire night with 1 woman was significantly below his average.
