I read the article. If you are a premium member here, it appears that you can read the article. Basically, it says that he loved the international diversity of the campus with so many international students. He hit it off with the head coach and with assistant coach Chris Harriman, who is from Australia.
Ben may be correct and Kuany goes to Cal, as the interview was very positive. Still, Kuany just visited Cal and you often hear glowing positive reviews following the visit.
Guess Kuany will let us know tomorrow what his choice is of a school. Easy enough to wait and see. Every pundit seems to be the know until they are not.
The assistant coach connection is probably going to be hard to beat. Hope the hat bounces our way though. Good kid and talent.

There continues to be a lot of activity in the transfer portal. Each day, there are several names added even as others on the list choose new schools. I'm amazed that so many players are just now choosing to transfer so late in the year. I'd be surprised if Smith isn't watching the portal closely. While a lot of these kids are players sitting way at the end of the bench and seeking more than just a few minutes a game, there could be some quality players worth going after. It's going to be at least another month, especially with the NBA draft deadline coming up in a couple of weeks (to withdraw from the draft), before college rosters really settle down, I think.
